Bugbrooke Antiques, Collectables & General Auction

Buyer Information

Whether you're a seasoned auction buyer or just want to feel the buzz of the sale room for the first time, Antiques2Go's Bugbrooke auction has something to offer.

Each auction has 250-300 varied lots of antique, collectable and general items for sale. Lots range in price from a minimum bid of £2 up to several hundred pounds with the majority of items we sell falling into the £10 - £50 price range.

We have a wide variety of items for sale at each auction and although we never know what is coming into each sale, the collectables we sell on a regular basis include Moorcroft, Clarice Cliff, Beswick, Royal Doulton, Royal Albert, Murano, Hornby, Corgi, Dinky, Lesney, silver items, pocket watches, gold and silver jewellery, costume jewellery, medals from WWI, WWII and earlier, coins, stamps, ephemera, militaria, pictures, small furniture, tools and general household items.

Viewing is from 4.30 pm on the day of the sale and the auction starts at 6.30 pm and finishes at around 8.30 pm. Catalogues are available for each auction from 4.30 pm for just 50p and include estimated prices for each lot. You need to register on your first few visits and then just ask for a permanent registered number thereafter. Once you have registered at Bugbrooke you do not need to register at Moreton Pinkney! Your bidding card number will be the same for both auctions.

Commission is 15% of the hammer price (minimum £1 per lot) plus an administration charge of 50p per lot purchased. You can pay and collect your items at any time during the sale - you don't need to stay to the end unless you want to.

Payment can be made by cash or by debit card. We no longer accept credit cards due to the high processing costs.

Don't forget to bring a notebook and pen and some wrapping and a box - even experienced auction goers forget these essential items!

Delivery of large items can be arranged but we do make a small charge for this service to cover our fuel costs and the price depends on how far we have to travel.

There is parking on site as well as light refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you at our next auction.
